Teaching & supervision

Learning by connecting foundations to practice.

I teach computer science and artificial intelligence at Aalborg University, with an emphasis on conceptual understanding, technical depth, and careful evaluation.

Selected by students as Teacher of the Year at the Department of Computer Science in 2021.

Selected teaching

Courses

BSc

Algorithms and Data Structures

Core algorithmic techniques, data structures, complexity, and systematic problem solving in computer science.

BSc

Machine Intelligence

Foundations of intelligent systems, including central concepts and methods in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

PhD

Robust Large Language Models: From Security to Factuality

Advanced research perspectives on security, privacy, factuality, and evaluation in large language models.

Supervision

Independence with an active intellectual partnership.

I supervise PhD researchers and MSc and BSc students across NLP, multilinguality, language-model security, semantics, and factuality. My aim is to combine clear expectations and regular feedback with growing ownership of the research direction.

The broader aim is to help researchers develop independent scientific profiles and prepare for the next stage of their careers.

Prospective PhD candidates should normally apply through advertised positions at AAU. For thesis collaboration or research visits, a concise message describing the question and fit is welcome.
